About the role: Develop strategic communication strategies to maximize the understanding and amplification of clinical evidence, medical education programs, and clinical programs in support of the vascular peripheral interventions division. Manage and execute strategic communications plans to ensure Marketing, Medical Education, and Medical Affairs teams are aligned with overall goals and objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage communication plans, in close partnership with the Medical Affairs, Medical Education, and Marketing teams, that take into consideration the goals of all functions while bringing a uniform message and look to our customers.
- Manage the coordination of the development, design, and production of communication materials while communicating with external vendors.
- Manage and ensure consistency in the Boston Scientific brand.
- Communicate proactively to various team stakeholders, in order to manage expectations, timelines and logistics.
- Identify, partner with, and manage appropriate resources (i.e., vendor relationships, other internal departments, etc.) to ensure that communication plans meet objectives.
- Evaluate program impact and reassess objectives and outcomes. Responsible for continuous improvement of the communication plan through measurable metrics.
- Keep abreast of industry standards and trends as related to responsibilities.
Required qualifications:
- Out of the box thinker who is fearless in helping drive change; willing to try new things, fail fast and iterate programs rapidly.
- Bachelor’s level degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with different stakeholders with urgency.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to think strategically .
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing multi-channel marketing communications plans.
- Experience working within a matrix organization.
- Agency experience or experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
