Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our home health care team in Fayetteville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health care, leadership experience, and a valid Georgia nursing license in good standing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight to our home health care team.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of leadership experience in home health care, including Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing roles.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing home health care.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
- BLS certification (required).
