ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
SES is looking for a Senior Engineer to join the international team operating out of Luxembourg and USA, and will be responsible for the health, monitoring and operations of the spacecraft Power and Thermal subsystems across SES's fleet of GEO and MEO satellites.
Your mission will be to provide engineering support to the full satellite lifecycle: from new satellite procurement through launch, orbit raising operations, on-orbit operations, as well as re-orbit. For this you will be using MATLAB or Python for coding solutions to enhance our spacecraft performance monitoring and analytics toolkits, but also developing a custom skillset and expertise, across a wide technical breadth, to make an impacting contribution to the success of every spacecraft mission.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $87,000.00 - $122,000.00 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target salary for new hires in Washington, DC Metro Area. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
