A Day in the Life
The People Experience Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of People Experience in the execution of strategic projects and implementations related to scalable solutions, while ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day requirements of the People Experience Team. They will enable a culture of excellence through assisting with the implementation of various People Experience related programs that align with departmental objectives and the organization’s vision, mission and values. This includes legal compliance, performance management and additional employee–related situations.

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Starting Pay:
$97,000.00 - $121,000.00 annually

The Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist capacity from a strategic and tactical perspective
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write and speak fluently)
- Must be willing to travel throughout our Southern California region (Inland Empire and Los Angeles)
- May need to travel to our Henderson, Nevada facility based on business needs
- Distribution Center environment a plus
- Excellent MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to travel locally and domestically
- Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse
Things You Will be Doing
- Proactively manages and prioritizes work on the team and supports operational needs, HR strategies and objectives.
- Oversee team size of 2-4 People Experience professionals.
- Guides and coach’s management on how to appropriately handle and resolve HR issues including, but not limited to performance management, conflict management, coaching, development and employee relations.
- Proactively manage and resolve employee relations and mitigate legal risk.
- Uses data to identify trends that help to inform HR strategies and proactive solutions.
- Interpret and apply state/federal employment laws as well as company policies and procedures.
- Informs Director or PE and General Manager on critical or sensitive business or team/ people concerns.
- Serve as subject matter expert for benefits, policies, and guidelines etc.
- Develop and execute a lifecycle approach to talent needs including, but not limited to, workforce planning, headcount and position management, internal mobility and succession planning.
- Supports and drives NRI’s culture by coordinating Social Responsibility activities and employee recognition.
- Initiates, develops, and executes a wide range of communication messages and programs.
- This position is required to provide information or direction to all employees of the organization. There is an element to persuade, influence and some negotiation in this level, but it is not a regular activity.
