Job description

Multidiscipline consulting firm is seeking a Project Wastewater Engineer for their growing team in White Plains New York!

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering work on wastewater collection conveyance and treatment processes during schematic design detailed design and design services during the construction phase of projects
  
• Take the lead on some duties to support the senior level engineering staff (engineering evaluations executing design calculations and preparing reports plans and specifications)
  
• Construction administration duties
  
• Onsite resident support activities (construction phase management activities coordination of shop drawing reviews/RFI responses lead development of construction change orders)
  
• Lead administrative/project management tasks
  
• Communicate with clients internal team and outside contractors
  
• Support environmental studies permitting and alternative analyses
  
• Field inspections/testing to check plans/specifications
  
• Perform field activities (site investigations witness testing and milestone construction observation)
  
• Perform data collection manipulation analysis and documentation
  
• Supervise schedule and manage technical staff/junior engineers work
  
• Assist with business development activities
  
• Lead project pursuits of small/moderate size
  
• Work virtually with employees around the country
  

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Engineering (Civil Environmental Chemical or Mechanical)
  
• 5 years of experience in the design and/or design services during construction of wastewater treatment plants collection and conveyance systems and alternative onsite treatment systems
  
• PE License in New York or ability to obtain NY PE through reciprocity within six months of hire
  
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Access Teams Outlook)
  
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D software programs
