Position Description:

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Iowa seeks to hire a 50%-time visiting faculty member specializing in event management. This position is a one-year, renewable appointment with full benefits. This position involves teaching 2 courses per semester in the Event Management Certificate.  Possible areas of interest include, but are not limited to: crisis management, venue management, event marketing, sustainable events, project management, event implementation, intern supervision, and more.
