Job description
IMKO Pro is recruiting a Licensed Architect to become the Principal Architect of a new firm located in Sioux City, IA. Principal Architect will lead new team and oversee all technical activities relating to architectural & engineering projects including the design team, and will review drafts, models, and approve design changes of other Architects. Projects include both Commercial and Residential construction.
Core Responsibilities:
Direct, review, and approve of project design changes
Develop & execute company's business strategies to align with goals of Chief Investment Officer
Provide strategic advice to Chief Investment Officer to align goals within the market and the company's future
Prepare & implement business plans and cost-effective operations & market development activities
Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, or market demand
Present proposals & bids to clients while meeting deadlines
Oversee company's financial performance, investments, & other business ventures
Review & write reports, approve expenditures, and enforce policies & procedures
Solicit project support from officials & provide information to the public
Develop and implement sustainability & environmental programs to reduce the impact of architectural activities or operations
Requirements:
Masters degree in Architecture
Architect License
5+ years Architectural experience
AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, SpecsIntact, & IAIA Contract Documents
LEED certification and understanding of sustainable design
Excellent communication and critical/analytic thinking skills
Integrity, Adaptability, and Dependability
