Job description
Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced Identity Management Consultant with a focus on SailPoint to work with a premier client in the technology sector. This role is pivotal in managing and securing our clients' unstructured data, ensuring accessibility to authorized users and preventing unauthorized access. Candidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.
What YOU will do
- Implement, configure, and manage SailPoint solutions, focusing on File Access Manager, to meet our client's unstructured data access governance requirements.
- Engage with clients to understand their data access needs, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of clients' data access controls and file storage systems, identifying areas for improvement.
- Design and enforce policies within SailPoint solutions to ensure effective governance of file access across various storage platforms.
- Seamlessly integrate SailPoint solutions with other identity governance and management systems for a unified approach to access control.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards within SailPoint solutions to offer insights into data access patterns, permissions, and potential security risks.
- Provide training and support to clients' IT and security teams on the efficient use and administration of SailPoint solutions.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in data access governance, SailPoint updates, and best practices to continually enhance service offerings to clients.
What YOU will bring us
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees or certifications in SailPoint.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in identity and access management, specifically with expertise in SailPoint solutions for unstructured data access governance.
- Deep understanding of file storage systems, access control models, and security protocols for managing sensitive data.
- Proven experience in integrating identity management solutions with various enterprise systems and platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, PowerShell) for solution customization and automation.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
