AmeriCorps Program Assistant
Families and Youth Innovation Plus is hiring a full-time AmeriCorps Program Assistant
The Program Assistant provides general program and office support. This includes assisting with data collection, promotional activities, and recruitment as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data collection and program reports
- Serve as a resource for program information
- Assist with program marketing and promotional activities
- Attend staff meetings and assist in the evaluation of the program
- Provide general program and office support as needed
- Purchase supplies and materials as needed for program activities
- Assist with program planning and implementation
- Keep the appointment system for the program staff
- Respond to requests for program and procedural information
- Assist with program outreach and recruitment as needed
Qualifications and Experience
- High (High school diploma) School
- Minimum 2-years in a school age child care growth and development setting
- Must maintain a full certification of the following trainings: CPR/First Aid and CPI Training
- Must pass a CYFD Criminal Records Check
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Meets specified deadlines and manages time effectively
- Exhibit skills in comprehending, interpreting, and completing delegated tasks efficiently
- Self-starter; must have the ability to work independently and follow-up on all work assignments
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure without losing sight of objectives
