Job Summary:
Bellevue Country Club is seeking highly communicative and professionally driven candidates. We are a member driven facility that requires all candidates to have a hospitality background, good attitude, and strong work ethic.
Employees are responsible for working together with hospitality team to serve members in various dining settings to a high standard of service. Employees will report to the food and beverage manager and must be able to follow instructions, be punctual, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Hours: Open Tuesday - Sunday. Dinner Shifts (around 4:00pm-9:00pm)
Pay : Hourly (Weekly Pay Days)
Host/Hostess Responsibilities: - Greeting guests as they enter, and leading them to their table.
- Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
- Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
- Strategizing and managing the flow of the entire room.
- Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions.
- Knowledge of the menu.
- Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
- Providing great customer service.
Host/Hostess Requirements:
- Restaurant experience a plus.
- Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
- Does high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
Duties will also include:
- Interacting with co workers and membership in a upbeat, positive, professional manner.
- Learning and following the specific service procedures in place.
- Perform specific job duties to the highest standard, representing the team to the best of your abilities.
- Learn various menus and be well versed in knowledge of products. Must be eager to learn!
Ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and multitasking skills. It is crucial that the steps of
service is up to the standards of the management team as you will be a key role in our customer satisfaction and club restaurant growth.
A follow up phone call and scheduled in-person interview will occur for selected candidates.
