Job Description: Director of Food and Beverage in the Hospitality Industry

Are you a skilled professional with extensive experience in food and beverage management within the hospitality industry? We are seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to join our team and lead our culinary operations in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will play a vital role in shaping our organization's culinary offerings and ensuring the highest level of quality and guest satisfaction. You will oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, procurement, staff management, and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute innovative menu concepts that align with current culinary trends and guest preferences.
• Collaborate with executive chefs and restaurant managers to create memorable dining experiences and exceed guest expectations.
• Ensure the highest quality of food and beverage offerings by implementing rigorous standards for sourcing, preparation, and presentation.
• Manage inventory and control costs by optimizing purchasing practices and minimizing waste.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a team of talented chefs, bartenders, servers, and other F&B staff members.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate customer feedback and implement necessary improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food handling and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and execute promotional activities to drive revenue growth.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of successful menu development and culinary innovation.
• Strong understanding of financial management and cost control principles.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Proficient in using restaurant management systems and software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Salary:
The salary for this position is between $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
