Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engine design and development, with a proven track record of leading successful engineering projects from concept to production. The Engineering Manager will oversee a team of talented engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engine designs that meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
Daily Tasks
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to develop innovative and launch new engine designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to ensure the successful execution of engine development projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of engine designs.
- Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with design standards, performance requirements, and cost targets.
- Identify and implement design improvements and cost reduction initiatives to enhance the competitiveness of our engine designs.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in engine design and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical background in engine design, including knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Experience with engine design software, such as GT-Suit, CAD, and FEA tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel as needed to support project activities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- A manufacturing environment may require heavy lifting and manual labor.

- Flexible and family oriented
HOURS
- 1st shift (standard work week, automatic overtime built into each Friday)
- Monday – Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Friday 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
