Job Description
The position serves as the strategic lead on all internal communications for the company, in various media, from print to electronic to major meetings. Primary focus includes enhancing communication platforms, developing communication processes, creating content to support an engaging employee experience, and engaging company events.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
(30%) Develop new communication processes and create break-through communication strategies and programs for U.S., international franchisees, and corporate team members.
- Working with Leadership Team and key company vice presidents, develop communications plans and lead strategy of communications plans and materials that are:
- Clear, concise, informative, and instructive
- Motivational, attention-grabbing and far-reaching
- Multi-media
- Directly tied to the company objectives and mission
- Identify opportunities to improve intercompany communication, then develop new strategies and processes to make systematic improvements for the organization.
- Serve as lead communication support for large internal organizations within Domino’s that have dispersed workforces and/frontline teams (including Technology, Supply Chain, Corporate Stores)
- Lead and manage content, editing and production of internal print and online media.
- Responsibilities include story assignments, final edits, securing Leadership Team approvals (as necessary).
- Managing corporate communication calendar and request process – ensuring the right communications are in the correct vehicles at the right time.
(25%) Provide leadership for major company events.
- Play a leading role in the logistics and planning for Worldwide Rally, Annual Regional Road Shows, Awards, Fun company events and celebration and monthly Town Halls
- Travel as necessary to ensure execution of company events.
- Lead cross-functional, global planning and execution of Worldwide Rally events.
- Manage sourcing and contract development process throughout host hotel selection and RFP.
- Ensure training, coordination and scheduling of on-site Rally staff.
(25%) Supervise internal communications and events team.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of internal communication specialists who create and execute communication plans and campaigns for various internal audiences and initiatives.
- Manage the internal communication budget and resources, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and priorities.
- Ensure team member work product meets objectives.
- Provide career development guidance and opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations.
(20%) Lead corporate communication and strategy for corporate communication channels.
- Develop and maintain internal communication platforms and channels, such as intranet, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, and social media, to foster employee engagement, collaboration, and feedback.
- Provide leadership and execution of emergency communications to the system.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in internal communication and employee engagement and recommend innovative and creative solutions to enhance internal communication effectiveness.
- Establish and monitor internal communication metrics and analytics, and report on the effectiveness and impact of internal communication activities and initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments and leaders across the organization to ensure alignment and consistency of internal communication messages and strategies.
- Design and deliver engaging, informative, and inspiring content and campaigns to promote DEI and employee engagement through multiple channels, such as newsletters, intranet, webinars, social media, and events.
Qualifications

Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills:
- Public speaking and presenting
- Writing for multi-media formats (print, video, speech, web) to multiple audiences
- Leadership (persuasive, effective, results-oriented) and team building
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or other relevant area
- Minimum 5 years experience in corporate communications with demonstrated ability to create break-through informational and motivational programs
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in high pressure environment
- Successful project management experience; ability to lead projects to achieve objectives
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of CMS (content management system)
- People management experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Experience leading people and teams
- Knowledge of communication metrics and analytics, and the ability to use data to measure and improve communication effectiveness.
