- Under general supervision, performs the tests ordered in the specific laboratory section(s) as assigned. Sections include chemistry, hematology, transfusion service, and microbiology.
- Access to coordinator or other professional personnel is required.
- May assist CLA's and another technical team.
- Other duties assigned
Requiring all new hires to have a Covid-19 vaccination. All new hires will complete a drug screen, including nicotine. Nicotine-free organization.
QUALIFICATIONS - BLS and ACLS
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of current Medical Lab Technician experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited Medical Lab Technician program
- Active unencumbered Medical Lab Technician Ohio state license
- One year of Epic experience
- Current MLT (ASCP) required.
- Credentialing through the Proficiency Examination administered under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (formerly Health, Education, and Welfare).
Requirements - COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
