Job description

Quality Control Analytical Intern

Responsibilities:

An internship in the Quality Control Analytical team at BioNTech US will include leading an effort that is focused on continuous improvement of an existing operation and/or contribution to technical studies/methods. Areas of focus may include sample management, current GMP practices, and interdepartmental collaborations in an agile manufacturing environment. The position is expected to be a cross-functional role that will collaborate with members of the Quality organization and other technical operations teams, such as Quality Control Microbiology, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Facilities & Engineering. 

Preferred Requirements:

• Current student in pursuit of a college/university level science degree (e.g. B.S., M.S.) (for example, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology).
• Prior experience working in a laboratory or biotech environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools including Excel and Power BI.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Able to manage multiple projects and tasks and complete based on prescribed due dates.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on site
