PURPOSE: The Manager, Network and Cloud Infrastructure Manager is a leadership role responsible for MCDeans Networks, including on-premise, cloud and hosted environments. This individual possesses cloud architecture knowledge and experience and manages a team of Network engineers as MCDean implements a cloud-first strategy.
Responsible for:
Uses technical knowledge and experience to assist in developing and implementing an enterprise-wide Network cloud strategy.
Works with business leaders to architect, build, and deploy network cloud solutions across public, private and hybrid cloud environments to support business needs.
Ensures the effective and efficient use of cloud computing to enable the organization to achieve its goals. This involves defining appropriate use, workload, and data placement policies.
Works with the security team to ensure that robust security management and privacy requirements are incorporated into cloud applications.
Manages the life cycle of networking hardware and software, establishes control guidelines, while utilizing change management best practices.
Requirements:
The incumbent must have at leastten (10 +) years of technical experience such as troubleshooting advanced network problems, eight (8) years of experience with various network technologies and end-user support, and five (5) years working in a supervisory role.
Experience supporting the configuration and maintenance of LAN/WAN and wireless technologies (Cisco preferred)
Advanced knowledge of the following systems:Windows OS, Cisco IOS, PAN-OS

ITIL foundation
Abilities:
Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
