We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on commercial flooring products in the Washington DC/Baltimore territory. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with approximately 50% travel required.

About the Opportunity:

As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, revenue, and profitability across a multi-state region. Your responsibilities will include generating leads, prospecting new clients, managing existing accounts, and developing strategic relationships within the commercial flooring industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive revenue generation and profitability throughout the region.
Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to implement pricing strategies and discounts.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with commercial floor covering contractors, general contractors, distributors, and architects.
Increase product awareness through presentations, phone conversations, and email communications.
Coordinate with the marketing department to plan advertising services and gather customer specifications.
Provide technical support to commercial floor covering contractors within the region.
Represent the company at national and local trade shows.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

5+ years of experience in flooring product sales management.
Ability to lead and develop marketing initiatives within the region's commercial segment.
Proven track record of effectively managing a profit center, meeting sales objectives, and implementing strategic changes as needed.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trusted relationships at all levels of business.
A proactive approach to addressing customer concerns and recommending solutions.
