Our preschool is now seeking a wonderfully passionate and motivated Teacher for our infants room, and a Teacher for our one year old room . If you are talented, creative and love to have fun while teaching, we encourage you to apply. Our school uses the Creative Curriculum as a base for our learning and planning. We believe that children should have as many hands on, fun experiences as they can to enrich their love of learning.

This position starts at $16/hour. In addition, you will receive a SIGN-ON INCENTIVE OF 40 HOURS OF VACATION TIME OFF AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR 90 DAYS PROBATIONARY PERIOD, TO BE TAKEN WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.

Skills/Requirements

• Must have a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or equivalent.
• Must have the 40-45 hours DCF Childcare Licensing training (Part 1, Part 2, and Early Literacy for Children Age Birth Through Three) and must have passed the exams.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED; and at least o ne (1) year of experience working in a child care facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Two (2) or more years of experience working with infants through pre-kindergarten in a child care facility.
• Advanced training in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and/or Child Development.
