About the Internship Experience:

As a NYSTEC intern, you will work with internal and external clients under the direction of an assigned mentor. You will learn and grow internal services core competencies, such as knowledge and application, complexity and problem solving, and collaboration and interaction. Through this program, you will gain an understanding of how a security program works operationally within a business.

In your day-to-day role as an intern in the Corporate Information Security department, you will help drive many projects forward, such as policy and procedure development and user access reviews.

This program seeks undergraduate and graduate students with exceptional technical and research skills, combined with strong leadership potential. We look for diverse educational and professional experience.

The NYSTEC Internship Program for summer 2024 will run from May 13 - August 2. The typical schedule will be during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Specific hours can be negotiated based on the intern's availability. Pay rates for interns are as follows:
