Job description
Ace Transmission Reman is seeking a Sales Manager/Director Assistant to join our demanding and fast-paced sales team. As a Sales Manager/Director Assistant , your primary daily responsibilities will be assisting our Director of Sales in achieving our annual sales revenue goals. Other responsibilities will be as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Building out mailer territories inside the Badger Platform.
- Creating labels, etc., to mail out physical mailers to new customers.
- Connecting with clients and customers via phone calls to give updates on the remanufacturing status.
- Customer Cold Calling.
- Mailer follow-up.
- Updating transmission prices via our proprietary software on the 1st and 15th of each month.
- Ordering/Maintaining office and kitchen supplies.
- Serving as our backup for the Sales Support role when needed.
- Verifying transmission application data on the 1st of each month.
- Updating customer warning labels in our proprietary software from the Director of Sales.
- Updating pre-1986 transmission pricing matrix to match data in our proprietary software.
- Keeping weekly department meeting metrics up to date (Sales reporting).
- Phone call follow-up(s) on customer look-up history in our proprietary software.
- Sending out annual Christmas cards to all customers, clients, and distributors.
- Posting to our social media platform(s) and managing posts from customers and clients.
- Reporting on sales close ratio (transmission look-ups versus transmissions purchased).
- Monthly development of an internal and external company newsletter.
- Inventory reporting to our clients, customers, and distributors (transmission units that are no longer available).
- Distributor account management.
- Sending monthly sales report emails to clients, customers, and distributors.
- B2B sales calls to wholesale clients and distributors.
Skills:
- Proven experience in outside sales and business development roles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software for managing sales processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure profitable deals with clients.
- Solid understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Strong account management skills to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
