Job description

We are searching for a Senior Attorney experienced in Family Law. This candidate will provide legal services to clients in a variety of family law matters. The individual will manage a fast-paced practice while maintaining a high level of professionalism and client service. The Senior Attorney- Family Law will provide legal advice, counsel, and representation to clients, and will strive to resolve all matters in a timely manner.

We are also willing to take over a solo or small practice and will be VERY competitive with the compensation. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients on a variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody and visitation, child support, alimony, property division, adoption, prenuptial agreements, and more
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, documents, contracts, and other legal documents related to family law cases
• Maintain client relationships by providing high-level customer service
• Manage a solo practice, from billing to client intake to case processing
• Represent clients in court, negotiation, and other types of legal proceedings
• Advocate for clients in a professional and ethical manner
• Develop and maintain a network of referral sources
• Maintain billable hours and other metrics

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
• At least five years of experience practicing family law
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software
