Job description
Scientific Drilling International is accepting online applications for the position of Human Resources Coordinator at our Corporate Headquarters in The Woodlands, TX.

- Maintain the employee database with a strong emphasis on data accuracy.
- Process HR-related documents, including Personnel Change Notifications and
new hire paperwork. - Manage records of personnel-related data such as payroll, personal information,
leaves of absence and benefit enrollment ensuring compliance with all
employment requirements. - Assist in the recruitment effort by reviewing resumes, conducing phone
screenings and coordinating interviews with hiring managers. - Support the onboarding process by initiating background checks, preemployment drug screenings and issuing employment offers.
- Conduct new hire orientations, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of
current company policies and benefit programs. - Hire personnel and process employment terminations in all systems.
- Complete employment verifications and assist with unemployment inquiries.
- Enroll, update and remove employees from benefits programs and the benefit
administration system. - Assist with coordinating random drug screenings and ensure compliance with
testing requirements. - Has knowledge of current employment law legislation.
- Assist in managing employee leaves of absence including disability claims,
FMLA and workers compensation. - Ensure that all employee documentation is collected, reviewed for accuracy,
completed, filed and recorded in all applicable systems. - Respond to internal and external HR- related inquiries.
- Assist with payroll and tax-related activities.
- Create, maintain and protect the highest levels of confidentiality with all
proprietary information and sensitive information. - Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the business.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Proficient experience with MS Office and related business and communication
tools. - High degree of speed, accuracy and attention to detail in daily work.
- Outstanding communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to process data in a confidential and sensitive manner.
- Ability to work in fast paced and results driven environment.
- Ability to present oneself with professional appearance and behavior in
accordance with dress code and Code of Conduct. - Ability to meet all safety requirements.
- Ability to read, communicate, and understand the English language.
- Ability to be a team player/builder.
- Adhere to established Company procedures and policies, work schedule,
attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
Education, Experience, Certification, and Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in HR.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in Human Resources or other related
field. - Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with HR systems including HRIS and ATS
Work Schedule
- Hybrid - 4 days per week required in-office in The Woodlands.
