The Department of Nursing has conditional approval from the Texas Board of Nursing to offer a direct entry master of science degree and is accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001. We have an excellent pre-licensure NCLEX-RN pass rate and employment rate for our BSN and MSN graduates.   The curriculum is designed to prepare graduates for a nursing career and requires all students to be involved in faculty-mentored  research or evidence-based practice projects.
