Job Description: 

 

We are seeking a Clinical Liaison Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in expanding our presence and building relationships within the healthcare community. This position is responsible for generating referral sources from an assigned territory, including hospitals, physicians, senior retirement communities, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospices, and the broader community. The Clinical Marketing Liaison will work closely with clinical and operational leadership to develop and implement strategic marketing plans and identify opportunities for partnerships with physicians, healthcare organizations, and payors.

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with healthcare facilities and community organizations.
• Actively build new relationships within the community, including hospitals, physicians, senior retirement communities, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospices and other key community members.
• Regularly visit healthcare facilities to nurture existing connections and develop new referral sources.
• Prioritize obtaining new patient referrals for the Ansible Health program.
• In cases of new referrals, be prepared to visit patients at their bedside to discuss program delivery and obtain necessary consents for participation.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless coordination of care between Ansible Health and referring organizations.
• Monitor trends in local market competition to identify potential growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a healthcare-related field with healthcare marketing experience.
• Two to five years of relevant professional experience preferably in a healthcare environment (home health agencies or hospice industry preferred), with a successful track record in sales and marketing.  Some relevant previous roles are similar marketing experience in home health, hospice, hospital discharge, and DME.
• Must be a Virginia local with knowledge of hospitals and the local healthcare market.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills to effectively engage with all levels of management.
• Excellent sales skills focused on relationship-building marketing techniques.
• Proficiency in Google Software (Google Docs, Google Sheets) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel).
• Self-motivated with a quick learning ability.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude towards personal growth within the company.
