Position Details:
- Full-Time opportunities in Orange County, CA
- Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, Physicians will maintain 36 patient hours weekly
- Energetic, self-starter who can work independently and contribute to team environment if patient volume is slow
- Occasionally cover weekends & extended patient care hours as needed
- Feel comfortable in a range of settings: small group office and large group organizational setting
- Flexibility in shifts to develop and manage patient panel
- Participate in community service and philanthropic activities
$245,387 - $375,408 *The range listed includes base salary, productivity and quality-based incentive compensation provided to full-time physicians annually, based on performance. In addition to compensation, Hoag Medical Group offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401k matching, CME, Malpractice etc.

We are seeking an energetic, team-oriented Primary Care Physician to join the Hoag Concierge Medical Group in Newport Beach.? Our care model limits the number of patients per provider, allowing each of our physicians to develop a deep relationship with their patients and provide an elevated level of clinical care and practice management. Position Details and Requirements:
- Responsible for providing primary care to a limited patient panel including individualized prevention, treatment planning, coordination of care and overall wellness
- Energetic self-starter who can work independently and contribute to a team environment delivering the highest quality of medical care in a five-star service environment
- Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
- Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses as well as managing chronic diseases and conditions, such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes
- Prescribing or administering medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
- Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- Monitoring patients' conditions and progress, and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
- Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
- Immunizing patients against preventable diseases
- Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results
- Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary
- Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care
- Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary
- Conducting research into the testing and development of new medications, methods of treatment, or procedures to prevent or control illness, disease, or injury
- Impeccable bedside manner, high EQ and ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team of exercise physiologists and health coaches to build personalized wellness programs for patients
- Contribute to the innovative, learning culture of the group and practice
- Patients have 24/7 physician access; however, group practice environment enables cross coverage opportunities
- Speaking engagements, opportunities to write and lecture within the community about health-related topics
Requirements
HMG Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. Degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- EMR proficient (we use EPIC)
- Multilingual skills preferred

HCM Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. Degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- EMR Proficient (EPIC experience a plus)
- Valid and active California medical license in the state you wish to practice
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
