Description:
Operates and maintains packaging department machines which include scales, conveyors, metal detectors, shakers, vertical lifts, coders, and other items. Operators will have single-point accountability for the Safety, Quality, and Production results for their given machine during their shift. They will be responsible for ensuring that all critical work processes are followed and understood by machine personnel (Fillers, packers & palletizers). Check weighers and other related packaging equipment safely and efficiently in relation to material usage, product waste, sealing, coding, and weight control. Prospective employees will have the skills to perform set-ups and help with changeovers.
