Customer Service Representative

Great opportunity with a company located near the Seattle Airport seeking a candidate who wants to learn about aviation and grow a career. Able to have a flexible schedule and work a hybrid schedule The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for spot quotations, making proactive sales calls, and managing allocations and bookings. That candidate will perform opportunity management and customer retention in a team with Outside Sales.

Responsibilities:

• Phone and email communication with customers for potential business
• Completion of verbal discussions with customers back in writing ·
• Ensure requested bookings of shipments compliant with regulations for all countries
• Origin countries, transit countries, and destination ·
• Submission of quotations per customer requests and meeting perimeters as outlined.
• Ensure calculated for profitability compliance ·
• Identify potential opportunities and communicate with management 
• When Customer indicates the type of movements required ·
• Follow up with customers on Quotations given
• Anticipated ship dates o If unsuccessful, pricing difference, solicit feedback ·
• Follow up with smaller customers on potentials and opportunities or find their niche ·
• Finding the right product for Customer Needs and upselling to the next level when possible, or 
• Ensure load ability Checks are completed on non-standard cargo with authorized agents for check ·
• Assist in updates of customer information as needed in the IT database ·
• Transport timeline or Special handling requirements ·
• Actively promote eChannel usage in communications with Customer
• Ensure manager advised when Customer’s non-performance issues below standard 
• Quality Check of GHA duties when assigned or required or Report to management ·
• Perform support duties as assigned or required Qualifications 
• Outline issues for management review and resolve ·
•  eBooking and eAWB

Requirements

Education: GED/High School desired Experience

The person in this position frequently communicates with customers to give instructions.

Work Environment:

Office Setting - Working with others occasionally and working in a home-based office

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days at home

Overtime available based on operational needs
