Senior Vice President (Medical Communications)
Our medical communications agency client is actively seeking to add an experienced, dynamic industry professional to lead the day-to-day management of an established, and growing medical communications company servicing the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Device industries. This role will serve as a member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to ownership, continue to develop existing client relationships, drive business growth, and provide strategic direction staff.

The qualified individual in this role will provide the following:
- Direct day to day agency operations, management of direct reports, P&L, staffing, process improvement where applicable, and staff professional development
- Oversee the development & delivery of client programs, quality and compliance, product innovation
- Strategic client interaction (pitch work, new leads/ new business), aid in account penetration/organic business growth
- Lead revenue growth initiatives with an established high-performing team, RFP responses, proposal development, pitch presentations
- Team oriented, people management and motivation capabilities
- Ability to manage and lead a highly organized and efficient delivery operation
- Ensure client strategic expectations and deliverables are being met
- Provide pharmaceutical clients with strategic vision & customized solutions
- Actively grow and promote the company’s products and services
- Effective communication with clients, ownership, and internal staff members at all levels
Requirements:
- Qualified applicants will have a minimum of ten (10) or more years of medical communications or a healthcare communications company
- BS or BA degree in business, life sciences, business management, communications, marketing, or related discipline.
- Advanced degree (MBA) a plus, not required
- Effective management, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Experience managing direct reports
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Progressive background within medical communications
