Clinical Tech/CNA


The Clinical Tech at Atrium Health Navicent assists in providing patient care under direct supervision and control of the Registered Nurse. Assists in maintaining a clean, and safe patient environment and performs job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competencies as appropriate to the needs of the patient population served.


Essential Functions:


Supports patient with activities of daily living


Assists patients with hygiene


Vital Signs, and height/weight measurement


Performs glucose monitoring via fingerstick


Transportation of patients on wheelchair, stretcher, bed, etc., including to other units as needed


Placement of electrodes for cardiac, respiratory and/or fetal monitoring


Post-mortem care


Maintains room in a clean and orderly condition


Instructs patient/families on proper safety measures


Assist with clerical work if needed


Maintains stock supply in the room


Physical Requirements:


Standing, Sitting, Lifting, Pushing, Reaching, Bending, Stretching, Pulling


What you will need:


Must have High School diploma or GED


CNA or patient care experience.

About the Team

The Medical Center, Navicent Health (MCNH) is a nationally recognized academic medical center, nationally verified Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet ® hospital for nursing, and serves a service area of 30 counties and a population of nearly 750,000 persons.


MCNH has over 4,500 employees and a medical staff of approximately 700 physicians. As the second largest hospital in Georgia, it is licensed for 637 beds, including pediatrics, medical surgical, trauma and cardiac surgery. The Emergency Center, with helipad capability and three urgent care centers, treats over 140,000 visitors per year.


MCNH provides a broad range of community-based outpatient diagnostic, primary care, wellness and comprehensive rehabilitation services. It is the primary academic hospital for Mercer University School of Medicine, providing residency and fellowship programs for over 100 residents and is affiliated with multiple universities as a clinical education site.
