WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Sales & Marketing Team, the Western Sales Manager will focus on near-term lead development and the closing of aircraft sales to meet or exceed quotas. You will work with Marketing on lead generation, prospect qualification and development. You will manage and mentor the Western Sales Associate, working collaboratively to nurture sales leads to successfully convert prospects into customers. You possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the motivation to ensure an exceptional experience for prospective and current customers.
Other Essential Duties Include:
- Conduct market research to build a solid pipeline of potential clients
- Follow up on leads provided by inside sales and marketing
- Timely outreach with prospective customers via phone, email, and networking events
- Prepare and present competitive analysis and effectively overcome objections
- Support tradeshows, demo tours and other events
- Perform demonstration flights
- Develop and present proposals; negotiate and close sales
- Meet established targets, KPIs and sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Act as a brand ambassador, assisting Marketing, Flight Operations, Customer Delivery, and Customer Support to foster an exceptional customer experience
- Travel to meet prospects and customers as needed
- Execute special projects and assignments as requested
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and work experience
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience
- Relationships with aircraft owners worldwide including high-net worth individuals and corporations
- Exceptional sales, presentation, written communication, and negotiation skills
- Current FAA commercial instrument (or ATP) certificate required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Confidentiality and discretion
- A current valid U.S. passport
- Must be able to obtain a 1st class medical
- Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
DESIRABLE
- 3-5 years of demonstrated aviation sales experience
- Experienced flight instructor (CFI/CFII)
- Previous corporate flight experience
- 1500+ Hours TT
- 250+ Hours in Turboprop aircraft
