Role : Quality Engineer
Location : Scarborough, ME - 04074
Duration : 3 Months
Shift Timings : 5:30 am - 2pm (First Shift ; Monday - Friday)
- 100% Onsite role.
- Local candidates only and Candidates from the New England area will be given preference.
Skills Looking For:
- The position is for a line quality engineer in a manufacturing facility.
- Responsibilities include verifying production activities, reviewing batch records, and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability are crucial.
- Candidates with a technical background, preferably in quality assurance or manufacturing, are preferred.
- Experience in quality or manufacturing is preferred, but fresh college graduates with STEM backgrounds may also be considered.
- Day-to-day responsibilities: Verify production activities on the manufacturing floor; Review batch records and ensure paperwork is filled out accurately; Keep an eye out for quality issues and initiate nonconformance reports if needed.
Education and Level of Experience:
- Bachelor's required (Engineering degree: mechanical, electrical)
- One to two years of experience in quality or manufacturing is preferred.
- Candidates with over 3 years or more of experience are overqualified; this is an entry-level role.
- Candidates outside the New England area may be less likely to be considered if they require relocation.
Top 3 Skills :
- Engineering degree; problem or process solving mindset.
- Quality exp preferable in med device manufacturing.
- Attention to detail, Problem-solving ability, Motivation and enthusiasm.
Interview Process :
