Position Title: Remote Sales Engineer
Location: Remote (Based in Reno, NV preferred)
Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire with Full Benefits
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year + 20% bonus
Job Description:
Are you a proactive and results-driven sales professional with a knack for forging strong relationships and driving business growth? We are seeking a dynamic Sales Application Engineer/Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role will focus on managing the Pacific NW Territory, utilizing a direct sales model while overseeing a manufacturer representative. The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality, with a focus on new business development while also nurturing existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Pacific NW Territory, emphasizing new business development (70%) and account management (30%).
Identify and pursue untapped business opportunities within the territory, maximizing revenue potential.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic sales plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Foster a culture of ownership and accountability, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
Travel within the territory and occasionally to Michigan and Europe, averaging approximately 50%.
Industries & Products:
Industries: Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Devices, Biotech, Semiconductors, Energy.
Products: Systems Solutions, Sensors, Connectivity Accessories, Signal Conditioning, Data Acquisition, Software.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
4-10+ years of sales experience in Sensors, Data Acquisition, Test & Measurement, or Systems solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
Reside in the Pacific Northwest (Northern California, Northern Nevada, Oregon, or Washington).
Willingness to travel within the territory and internationally as required.
