Position Location: 1511 Pearl St, Waukesha, WI 53189
Position Hours: FULLTIME 1st Shift: M, T, TH, F (6 AM - 2:30 PM) amp; W (5:30AM - 2PM)
Position Wage: Starting at $19 per hour (plus based on experience)

Job Description:
The Fabrication Assistant plays an important role in ensuring the fabrication department is
successful in fixing and creating various department fixtures, components, amp; parts. Responsibilities
include complete internal and external jobs, create custom parts for various ThermTech
departments, and improve company functions by recognizing inefficient or ineffective fixtures,
components, amp; parts and recommending changes to improve upon weak points.
Principle Duties amp; Responsibilities:
- Operate all equipment within the fabrication department
- Fabricate custom made parts
- Design custom blueprints and drawings
- Use existing drawings/blueprints as a guide to make fixtures, components amp; parts.
- Operate various hand tools
- Set up amp; operate shear amp; press brake, hand amp; machine plasma torch, amp; oyx-fuel torch with
minimum assistance
- Sharpen drill bits amp; tools
- Assist various departments with projects as needed
- Ensure plant organization and cleanliness
Minimum Requirements:
All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test amp; background check.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Acquire/maintain forklift certification
Experience: 1+ years of experience of flux core welding/fabrication
Hard Skills:
- Efficiently amp; safely operate drill presses, band saws, sawzalls, rollers, brakes, torches,
plasma cutter amp; welders
- Proficient physical shape- able to lift 25 lbs. regularly
- Efficiently amp; safely operate grinders, sanders, tape measures, squares amp; drills/taps
- Read and design blueprints
- Basic computer skills
- General math knowledge
