Job description
Colossal Transport Solutions is seeking to hire a high-level Accounting Associate with qualifications and experience in the various areas listed below. The ideal candidate will need to understand basic accounting principles and be driven to succeed in their career. Applicants should have 5+ years of related experience and responsibilities. This position is in Spring, Texas.

Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Compile financial reports and various complex account analyses required by management.
- Verify and enter accounts receivable and accounts payable information and generate checks.
- Audit, reconcile and prepare financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Perform general ledger monthly and annual audits.
- Control the workflow of accounting processes to meet Company closing deadlines.
- Prepare cash flow reports on bi-weekly basis.
- Enter AP and AP and prepare reports on basis of job costing (using Phases and Cost Codes)
- Compile monthly/annual projections for each company.
- Work closely with other departments on any invoice discrepancies.
- Collect outstanding balances from customers.
- Enters new and maintains existing customer accounts.

- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
- Experience with Sage software not required but highly favored.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications
- Knowledgeable in the transportation industry.
