Idaho Power — headquartered in Boise, Idaho — is looking for a Senior Contracting Agent to join our Supply Chain team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. This position is focused on providing contracting support throughout the company. The role is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location and offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.

What does a Senior Contracting Agent do for us?

The Senior Contracting Agent is part of Idaho Power’s Supply Chain Procurement team. The agent will, with minimal guidance, lead stakeholders in negotiation and supplier management activities. They also will focus on the development of internal customer materials and service contracts of significant risk and complexity. The successful candidate will be masterful at leading competitive bidding events, preparing contract documents, and supporting best-value and least-cost objectives.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
