Toole Design Group is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Senior Engineer in the Portland, ME area. A Day in the Life of a Senior Engineer

You are managing a variety of people centered transportation engineering projects, brainstorming creative, contextually sensitive solutions. You lead and mentor an interdisciplinary team to deliver sustainable, place making, multimodal transportation infrastructure projects in a wide range of contexts. You are at the table with clients and colleagues from a variety of disciplines, delivering project ideas from concept to construction. You share your knowledge at stakeholder and public engagement events, developing feasibility studies and concept plans and preparing construction documents for innovative projects throughout the country. You guide your colleagues to ensure that our projects are consistently of the highest quality. You participate in business development pursuits in your home region as well as across New England, weighing in on pursuit decisions. You work with a close-knit team that is passionate about the work and the communities that you serve.

Work Schedule for a Senior Engineer

This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home. While this position is based in Portland, ME, there will be occasions when being physically present in our Northeast office in Boston will be expected as mutually agreed upon during the job application/interview/offer process.
