Job Description:
As a Game Translator & Tester at Andovar, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless localization of video games, making them accessible and engaging for diverse language markets. You will have the opportunity to contribute to linguistic excellence and quality testing of gaming content.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately translate and localize game content from the source language to the target language, maintaining context and cultural nuances.
- Collaborate with the localization team to ensure consistency in terminology and style.
- Conduct linguistic and functional testing of localized games to identify and report issues related to language, functionality, and user experience.
- Verify the accuracy of translations in the game environment.
- Communicate effectively with the localization team, providing feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of localized content.
- Work closely with other translators, testers, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in the source language and native-level proficiency in the target language.
- Strong understanding of gaming terminology and cultural nuances.
