About the job : Under the directio n of the Senior Coordinator (Fire and Rescue), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA), Intelligence Analyst will perform varied complex analytical, research, and date dissemination functions related to the Wildfire Forecast and Threat Integration Center (WFTIIC).
- Provides coordination support for the California Wildfire Forecast and Threat Intelligence Integration Center. Assists with coordinating and disseminating intelligence products to local, state and federal governments, other organizations and end users.
- Organizes and facilitates multi-agency meetings, webinars, and stakeholder forums by setting the agenda, coordinating meeting topics, developing materials, documenting and tracking processes and procedures.
- Attends meetings in place of re-directed staff for discussion, analyzes existing system and provides recommendations for improvement, coordinates with Cal OES Assistant Chiefs, on documents. Gathers information, performs analysis on incident data to identify statistics, trends, and issues, and provides reports to management. Acts in an advisory capacity to management and program staff regarding a variety of fiscal and project time reporting related issues including, but not limited to internal budgets and Concept Budget Concept Proposals.
- Wildfire Forecast and Threat Intelligence Integration Center IT/Webpage Coordinator: Analyzes database applications including Lotus Notes; develops recommendations for changes and or enhancements. Analyzes current processes and tracking systems and develops requests for the creation of new applications to reduce time and duplication of workload.

Working Conditions
Telework : This position supports the day-to-day business operations for the Fire & Rescue branch which is handled in the office. This is not considered a hybrid telework position.
Conflict of Interest : This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code and is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.
