Job description

From a small company, our client has grown into a national brand-building powerhouse known for speed, precision, and round-the-clock service working with the largest US and international companies.

The Procurement Manager will lead the purchasing department, focusing on prioritizing and streaming procurement practices, achieving favorable pricing, and improving delivery systems. Responsibilities include managing procurement activities, fiscal forecasting, and building strong relationships with suppliers. The role involves supervising, overseeing daily operations, and conducting performance reviews.

Duties encompass determining procurement needs, achieving cost reductions, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining accurate procurement information. The manager will formulate and execute sourcing strategies, create purchasing policies, negotiate contracts, and analyze market trends.

Required qualifications/skills include:

Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or similar qualifications
Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in a corporate environment.
Superior communication and negotiation abilities, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership, task prioritization.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
