The experimental high energy physics group at the University of Iowa is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position working on the DUNE experiment. The group is actively involved in the Far Detector (Vertical Drift) with efforts at CERN and at Iowa in construction for the Photon Detector System and Charge Readout Plane subdetector. The group also has an effort in the Near Detector (Liquid Argon TPC) with commissioning studies and ND-LAr reconstruction software, and plans to participate in the ND-LAr 2x2 run at Fermilab. The successful applicant will work with Professors Jane Nachtman and Yasar Onel and will also have the opportunity to work with graduate and undergraduate students, and to work at Iowa, Fermilab, CERN, or SURF.

The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. in Physics or closely related field, completed before the start of the position. Applicants should have a strong record of accomplishments in data analysis, and interest or experience in detector development, construction, or operation. Desired qualifications include research experience in neutrino physics and interest in promoting DEI in our field.
