Job description
Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor, PLS
Location: Mission Viejo, CA
Salary: ($130,000 - $150,000 + Bonus: $10,000+)
Responsibilities: (Boundaries, Mapping, Surveys)
- Conduct land surveys for private land owners, commercial businesses, and public utilities.
- Develop detailed technical maps for public and private development projects.
- Check map accuracy by verifying physical markers and boundary lines.
- Determine the size, shape, and contour of the land.
- Write reports that outline survey objectives, methodology, and results.
- Resolve boundary disputes between property owners.
- Monitor and inspect the progress of survey projects.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of survey law and local regulations.
- Mentor junior staff members
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in good standing - required
- Proficiency in survey and mapping software and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
