- Minimum 2 years of proven accounting experience is preferred.

About the Role
We are on the lookout for a seasoned accountant who excels in the realms of payroll, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and broader financial and accounting tasks. The successful candidate will be the sole accountant for this branch and play a pivotal role in overseeing diverse financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and receivable processes.
- Ensure payroll tax compliance and maintain accurate payroll records for timely submissions.
- Verify daily transaction accuracy, maintaining detailed records and supporting documents.
- Produce and review financial statements and sales reports for accuracy before dissemination.
- Address and rectify any discrepancies in payments or account records.
- Manage and update inventory records, including conducting regular physical counts.
- Support external accounting services in audit preparations, financial statement creation, and tax filing.
- Oversee business insurances, licenses, and renewals, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Compile monthly financial reports for executive review.
- Handle tax-related correspondence and queries.
- Lead efforts in process and procedure automation.
- Administer the corporate credit card program and offer financial and compliance advice to aid management decision-making.
- Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes.
- Ensure strict confidentiality with sensitive information handling.
- Participate in the administration of company benefits, such as health insurance and 401k plans.
- Undertake additional tasks as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Profound knowledge in payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and related financial areas.
- Analytical prowess for detailed account reviews and discrepancy identification.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Google Workspace or similar platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to financial accuracy and integrity.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, time management capabilities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
