Job description
PAY RATE: $22.50 - $23.50 Hourly
Full Time
Provide restorative care in community based locations while implementing behavioral health care plans for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Deliver motivational, consistent support to build and preserve high quality relationships. Provide crisis intervention including intensive support and encouragement, ensuring people supported develop essential skills which contribute to a safe and healthy environment. Work closely with clinical staff to enhance people's quality of life and daily activities such as: nutritional guidance, community jobs, medication administration, personal care, etc.
Required Skills
A clear understanding of IDD and mental health needs to assist with rehabilitative service. Role model a positive and caring demeanor as part of a supportive team. Objectively monitor; report and document service delivery.
Required Experience
1 to 2 years' experience providing rehabilitative services for people with IDD, as well as chronic mental health issues. Safety Care Certification (Past or current).
