We value U.S. military experience and invite all qualified military candidates to apply.The Marketing & PR Manager is responsible for managing all areas of public relations, all PR and Marketing information on websites, advertising and brand/collateral identity. The Public Relations Manager is expected to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual goals established with the General Manager.
· Responsible for all marketing and PR efforts of 433 room Marriott Branded Hotel, 96 room Kimpton Hotel. Restaurants ( Lona Cocina Tequileria/Tinta, Waves, Escape Rooftop, La Fuga,), outlets , Spa, Fitness Programs, Meetings and Events and experiential on-site activations.
· In charge of planning and managing activations and Brand promo events like Global Wellness
· Collaborate with key members of operational, food and beverage, and marketing departments to create unique programming and activations
· Create partnerships and manage bookings activations, Chef’s tasting
· Develop and execute special event operations; Media Events, Specialty Dinner Programming, Pride Week
· Create marketing materials for social media use, via Canva.
· Execute email marketing campaigns for rooms, food and beverage, and event activations
· Primary Public Relations and Marketing contact on behalf of hotel, in charge of coordinating press photo shoots, pitching offerings, providing visual assets, evaluating media stays, and upholding Marriott and HEI brand standards
· Oversee social media marketing efforts, including content creation, community management, paid advertising
· Excellent copywriting skills with ability to create compelling content for various marketing channels
· Take a proactive approach in creating revenue-generating events and ideas
· Internal and external website updates, audits, copywriting, pull through property-specific messaging.
· Reviews paid media campaign strategy and performance.
· Audits existing online marketing opportunities on third party and local sites.
· Verifies that content, photography, promotions and packages, and local links on hotel websites on Brand.com are up to date and fully utilized by hotels across the region.
