Tyndale currently has an exciting opportunity for a Field Sales Representative to join our Client Services team. In this role, you will provide support to the Sales Team by traveling nationally to customer sites to perform product fittings for specialized safety wear, and serve as a product knowledge expert answering technical and all other questions about products during fittings.
HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. To be considered,
candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our Tyndale headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County) or Houston, TX facility for onsite work. Responsibilities - Travel to customers' sites and/or virtually provide education to employees on program specifications & solicit orders for products, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness;
- Collaborate with Sales on lead/prospect conversion regarding Tyndale's program and product educational services;
- Create customized client presentations on Tyndale products & services, explaining product features, attributes, and fitment, delivering recommendations on program specific products, emphasizing higher quality items;
- Explain technical nature of products during events, ensuring that the purchasers understand the necessity for protective clothing and PPE;
- Capture cold & warm leads, transitioning opportunities to Sales administration for distribution;
- Manage on-site customer visit schedule;
- Manage travel itinerary booking compliant travel arrangements for customers' events through corporate travel software;
- Attend tradeshows and various customer events as necessary;
- Follow-up with dissatisfied customers to ensure their problems are resolved, and that they will re-order from the company;
- Solicit and disseminate customer feedback, on programs and products, for purposes of increasing satisfaction and aiding in product development;
Additional Accountabilities and Job Activities (to be performed when not traveling) - Conduct monthly inventory of event tool kits, reorder supplies;
- Maintain internal database as necessary;
- Cross-departmental project coordination;
- Coordinate with Sales on product optimization by recommending alternatives to slow moving and discontinued items while increasing adoption of new products within programs;
- Participate in improvement task groups and design training modules;
Qualifications - This position requires frequent travel: Must be able to travel extensively (up to 80-90% during heavy business capacity times) both domestically and internationally via air and car
- HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred;
- Current valid driver's license is required;
- Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs is required;
- Strong computer skills- proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat a plus;
- Ability to work independently with a positive attitude;
- Must be detail and action oriented;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to quickly build effective relationships;
