We are looking for a passionate, highly skilled BCBA to join our team in the South Bay area! This position would be a combination of home, school, and center sessions. Joyscape Therapy is a small company with a unique model: all of our staff are BCBAs or Master's-level clinicians. We use play-based, naturalistic Applied Behavior Analysis to serve neurodivergent kids, adolescents, and teens, with an emphasis on NDBI-based practice. We focus on providing trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive ABA services.

At Joyscape Therapy, BCBAs implement the 1:1 direct therapy to ensure high-quality treatment is being performed. There are no RBTs within our company model. We aim to provide the best child-directed ABA for our clients, many of whom were referred to us after poor experiences in the past. We love being able to introduce families to the idea of what effective, ethical ABA services can look like!
Sessions may take place in client homes, daycares, and/or our beautiful center in San Jose!
Your work week will consistent of direct client time, indirect client time, staff trainings and meetings, optional supervision opportunities for our BCBA candidates, and committee work depending on which of our 8 committees you may want to join -- all of which is paid at the same hourly rate! Additionally, we have guaranteed paid time for unexpected client cancellations, during which you may work on clinical projects for the team or projects for your committees.

As a BCBA at Joyscape, you will:
- Provide high-quality, ethical, family-centered direct 1:1 ABA Therapy to clients of all ages and backgrounds, including developing, managing, and implementing a treatment plan
- Complete comprehensive assessment reports including caregiver interviews, developmental assessments, FBAs, and elegant treatment plan write ups
- Develop ethical Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that focus on proactive strategies and antecedent manipulations
- Provide parent ABA coaching, provide consistent and ongoing feedback, collaborate with parents on treatment goals and progress, seek feedback both formally and informally
- Analyze data and monitor progress on an ongoing basis, modifying treatment goals as updating programs as clinically recommended
- Collaborate monthly with OT/ST/PT and teachers when applicable; encourage multidisciplinary approach with families
- Continuously learn and grow as a clinician, including attending continuing education events and staying up-to-date on literature
- (Optional) Provide BCBA training and supervision to Program Managers, who are clinicians who are either soon-to-be-certified or newly certified
- Have opportunities for professional development, including joining small internal teams such as social skills group facilitation, Program Manager training, research and education committee, and more!
Qualifications for Program Director (BCBA) position:
- BCBA Certification required
- Master's degree in a related field
- 5+ years Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience minimum, with at least 2 of those years as a BCBA. (If you have been a BCBA for less than two years, our Program Manager position may be a better fit for you!)
- Experienced in goal setting, report writing, and conducting assessments including AFLS, VB-MAPP, and/or Vineland-3
- Driver's license with reliable transportation and auto insurance for driving to clients' homes
- Successful candidates are positive, high-energy, strong communicators, and excellent collaborators
- Experience in NBDI, ESDM, NET, and/or PRT
Benefits for full-time Program Director (BCBA) employees:
- Starting pay at $70/hour for all worked time (direct, indirect, and non-billable time). Please note: the annual salary range estimate is based on 30-40 hours worked at $70 per hour.
- Paid non-billable time offered for client cancellations to ensure a stable schedule, as paid monthly trainings and meetings.
