Job description

Lifeway Camps is seeking a Creative Producer with a heart for live production and the worship environment for Student Life Camps . The Student Life Creative Producer is responsible for creating an excellent customer experience in worship services at Lifeway camps through inspirational live and video-driven content. The incumbent manages the production process of all live and video pieces from creation to final product to ensure successful execution by summer Camp Staff and theological alignment.

This role involves significant travel to Summer camp locations

This is a hybrid remote/in-office position located in the greater Nashville, TN area and relocation assistance is available. #LI-Hybrid

• Manages the production process, hires and manages contractors  
• Plays a key maker role in writing scripts  
• Oversees film shoots and collaborates with the Lifeway Media Team in , producing, purchasing and organizing props/costumes, navigating editing processes, managing budgets  
• Delivers on time and excellent final assets to camp team  

• Provides indirect leadership to support partners including but not limited to production activities, in addition to year-round support  
• Oversees the process of establishing creative direction each year for camp programming  
• Collaborates with the Student Life , Creative Team , and Media Team , and holding creative vision from inception to completion  
• Applies theological knowledge to creative content  
• Leads all live stage projects for Student Life camp  
• Collaborates on all video projects with the Media Team.  
• Oversees the execution of camp in the summer and maintain quality control across all teams  
• Will edit pieces and give onsite direction as needed throughout the summer  
• Travels to camp and evaluating actors to ensure optimal delivery of the final product  
• Recruits, hires, trains, and develops summer staff actors in the performance of their roles and execution of the creative direction of camp  
• Significant seasonal travel April-August annually, often overnight  

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Broadcasting, TV, Film, or similar course of study

Some seminary education a plus

Experience / Skills / Knowledge Required

• 5+ years writing and directing scripts
• 5+ years management of creative projects
• 3+ Creating theologically-based content
• Strong biblical knowledge for content creation purposes
• Evident knowledge of ministry landscape and desire to serve in a ministry organization
• Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Proven history of autonomous decision-making
• Detail oriented
