As our Configuration Management Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of EPS's product configuration while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, guidance documents, and industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in managing data related to certification, data management, and engineering processes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing configuration and data management support, developing and executing processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements, and serving as the gatekeeper for document releases and revisions. You'll handle Requests Authorization for Change (RACs) and Notification of Changes (NOCs) with customers and regulators, while also managing controlled data file stores.

To thrive in this role, you'll need an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, along with at least 3 years of experience in an aerospace configuration management environment. Your excellent organizational and communication skills, coupled with your attention to detail and process-driven mindset, will set you up for success. Proficiency with MS Office applications and Document/Data Management systems is essential.

If you have 5+ years of experience in a commercial aerospace environment and a background in authoring engineering, manufacturing, and quality processes, that's even better. Experience with SAE AS-91000 and EAI-649 will be highly regarded.

When it comes to physical requirements, you should be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Additionally, you should be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds at a time and be accustomed to repetitive motions.
