SAIC is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support a large DHS program within our organization. The position will be supporting an exciting Security Assurance support program safe guarding federal mission and business systems from cyber threats.

Qualifications

- BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field, or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of experience with software development, software architecture, APIs, and microservices
- 5+ years designing, creating and configuring Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc
- 5+ years designing, creating and configuring Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each (including CMS/Service Portal)
- 3+ years developing applications working with ServiceNow
- 4+ years of experience working and developing with JavaScript - HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS
- Extensive hands-on experience on Discovery, Service Mapping, Discovery, Event Management, CMDB integrations
- Discovery and MID Server configuration, schedules, patterns, troubleshooting skills for issues such as Credentials, Connectivity, Firewall access, and port access
- Development of Service Catalog creating new catalog items, designing workflows and execution plans
- 3+ years of experience creating workflows for Service Catalog items.
- 3+ years integrating ServiceNow with external systems through SOAP or REST web services
- 3+ years of experience with building software using agile methods in a DevOps environment.
- 1+ years of experience with automating tests for determining quality, security, performance, and usability of a system
- 5+ years of experience with Change Management, Service Catalog and Scoped applications.
- Experience with CI classes, model, and CI relationship configurations by using OOB CI classes and extending the OOB CI classes as required
- Create, enhance, and fix complex UI Page, custom and interactive widgets.
- ServiceNow Discovery and ServiceNow Services Mapping for cloud inventory
- Experience writing and evaluating user stories, acceptance criteria, and pull-requests
- Working knowledge of Git and repository providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Preferred Skills / Attributes:
- Experience with HTML5, JAVA, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, React
- Experience in Lean Design, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
