Job description
Seeking a Project Control Specialist local to the Rome, NY area.
Secret clearance is required.
Key Role:
Directs all financial management and administrative activities, such as budgeting, manpower and resource planning, and financial reporting. Performs complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues which would require a report and recommend solutions. Develops work breakdown structures, prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor s degree with at least 5 years of experience.
- Preferred Requirements: 8 years of experience and/or Master s degree in technical, managerial, or related discipline.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with working in a business or project management environment
- 5+ years of experience with financial tracking and reporting
- Experience working in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience with synthesizing data and information from multiple sources into a single document or report
- Strong ability to think critically and solve multifaceted problems
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Desired Skills in:
- Experience with federal government contracts and acquisition
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), federal budget process, funds accounting and management
- Experience with quantitative analysis, including financial and schedule analysis
- Ability to apply keen attention to details
- Ability to effectively manage time to meet deadlines
- Master s degree
